Slow, already had glitches the first month

Got this as a gift. It's very slow and powers off randomly once in a while. I have a PS3 that I use so I was baffled to get this thing. I rarely use it. It's not worth the money. Most of the free channels make you pay for episodes. And most of the actual free stuff you can watch is worthless programming and filled with commercials. Really a pointless gadget to have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great multiple channel options

My husband and I had another brand of streaming device. It would freeze. The channel options were limited. We bought one new HD TV and one Roku stick. It was the best decision. The channel options are magnificent. I had originally been apprehensive about Roku due to its inclusion of Fox News and WSJ. We ended up buying three more.

I have the Roku box in my family room and wanted the stick for my living room. I gave up Directv and have never been so satisfied. I enjoy my TV more than ever now since I an not paying for anything that I do not watch. I love Roku!!

This is probably the best product I've ever purchased. I don't have time to watch or pay for cable. I absolutely LOVE Roku and everything it comes with!
