Huge money saver, great options

I just bought my first house, so money is a little tight until I figure everything out. I don't want to pay for cable, so I bought the hd antenna, works pretty good for local channels. A cousin told me about roku, I got the hdmi stick. It's awesome! The free channels are great, Netflix, Hulu, and AMAZON prime are my favorites for everything else!! Great value, since it's a one time purchase. And great options!!! I don't think I'll ever be paying for TV because of my roku!

I got the Roku streaming stick about a month ago and it is working out pretty well. I get the benefits of the latest generation of Roku technology at about half the price of the Roku3. However, the responsiveness of the stick is not nearly as good as my Roku (LT?) with the traditional style wifi box. Also, I don't like the newer Roku Netflix interface as well as the old (not sure who controls that exactly), but it has all the same functionality. Nevertheless, I think this is a good buy and the Roku is a great turnkey solution for accessing internet content.

I own three roku devices which I use on each tv I own for Netflix, Amazon, and plex. I have a very large collection of movies, tv shows, and music which I serve with plex and watch on all my devices using the roku. The roku devices work very well and never mess up. I have two roku 3s and a roku streaming stick, all of which work exactly as designed. I have no complaints about any of these devices and would buy them again.
