We purchased this to stream JW.org, which it streams with no problem. Highly recommend! The stick streams many other channel's smoothly and was very easy to install.

Disappointing

I expected more so I'm a bit disappointed. If there is more to it than I'm finding then it is not intuitive as I can't seem to find as much free as I'd like; especially news and sports. Another disappointment is the periodic freezes that happen in the middle of programming. I've found the only way to fix it is to disconnect the power and allow it to reboot. It happens way to often.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this to enable me to get news on-line. It has turned out to be so much more! I use it for almost all of my TV viewing online. I have a similar unit from Google, but this ROKU devise is much more complete for my needs. You can't communicate from your computer to the TV (casting), but it is much better for watching YouTube, Netflix and other online programming that the (older)Blue Ray Player for the online stuff. Simply put, it is GREAT for the price!

Best Streaming Device for the Money!

Originally I had bought the Roku 1 about six months ago and I absolutely loved it. It was small and chic and packed great HD streaming power. Recently I needed an upgrade tho and the Roku Stick filled my needs. I love being able to switch between different Netflix profiles and even better not having to point the remote to the device anymore (wifi). It's even smaller than the Roku 1 with the same amount of power! Amazing!

I purchased my Roku about a month ago and all I can say is I wish I had done it sooner. It is very simple to use, sets up quickly, and opens up my tv. I highly recommend it.

This is my second one, I already have the Roku 2, so I bought another one to go into the back bedroom for my grandchildren (and me). I love it! I would recommend and do recommend this product to anyone.

Where I live there is no over the air reception, and due to financial constraints I do not have cable/satellite. Roku products have been the answer. The streaming stick installed and began working flawlessly. Would and have recommended it.
