I live in Buenis Aires, Argentina. Unfortunatelly Roku does not work with Netflix here. There are many other options with Roku for mivies and other contents but the are not good and also no subtitled.
We have so many new choices I cant even say enough good about it! We've had it around 4 weeks and have barely scratched the surface of how much more channels we have; movies, documentaries, Utube, TV series, and on and on.
I purchased the Roku Streaming Stick a few months ago during a trip. My initial impression is it is a good quality build and a good size to travel with. It's dependacy on a wi-fi connection with internet is the only downside. I was hoping to be able to stream from my phone through an ad hoc network. I was not able to use it for this purpose. However it does function as advertised when connected to a connection that has access to the internet.
The only issue that I have found is if you have a TV mounted on a wall the unit is too long to fit between the TV and the mount. I solved this issue by purchasing a HDMI extension cable.
With most TV's having a USB port on them now there is no issue finding a power source. The unit does come with a USB cord that is long enough to do the job should it be needed.
