Inexpensive and functional

I bought the first Roku approximately 6 months ago and the second 1 month ago. I believe the Roku Streaming Stick is an excellent product. I use it for Netflix, Acorn and TWC On Demand. The Roku work very well with each of these applications. I use one on a smart TV because I find it easier use for my requirements. I had one issue which I believe was insufficent power to the Roku Stick via the USB 5VDC input. The problem was solved by use of the provided AC adapter rather than the USB connector on the TV. This problem was not related to the Roku Stick. I would highly reccommend this product.

I needed to stream a specific program and the Roku was recommended. It has proved to be the best and the easiest product to use.

It is really nice, when it actually works

Ever since we bought this stick it has randomly reset. We then have to wait for the roku to reboot, which seams to take a few minutes. When we try to pick a channel again it reset. This is very frustrating when you want to watch a movie but it take 10 minutes to pick you channel and find a movie, then it will reset again. Average time for us Tom et a movie started 15 minutes. If we are lucky it will work the first time, but after 10 min we usually give up and go do something else. When we do get to watch movies the picture is very clear and we never have wait for it to buffer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the flexibility to be able to pick and choose what I pay for. There are also many free things.

I bought this product 2 months ago for my bedroom it sucks it doesn't work I have to unplug it and reset everything I use it. Will buy a smart tv next time like I have in my living room.
