Roku Streaming Stick kinda sucks

I recently purchased a Roku Streaming Stick just for the purpose of using Plex TV that a friend of mine is hosting. That works just "okay" is the best that I can say for it. The Roku device itself is slow, clunky and not very well thought out. The remote is the absolute worst design that could possibly come out of any R&D shop. Who puts a curved back on a remote? No doubt its the same team that puts a cloth tag on a remote... I can't in good conscience recommend this device to anyone.

Not really she's just in her room watching Netflix , she will come out for food occasionally or if she needs money and when I ask her if the Roku is working good she just rolls her eyes at me , that's a yes I think? So yea, the wife and I couldn't be happier.

We love all the shows and features that came with ours. We had a minor hiccup and had to call support for help. Very fast, friendly and patient response.

Had awful time getting connected but once done, wonderful. Am 84 and very recently lost my husband. So much of what films are available is not age or emotionally appropriate. Years ago, had watched THE GUARDIAN series when it suddenly disappeared. In searching for something to view, found the entire series. That alone is worth the Roku and Netflix. To live in an age where a tiny device can bring such pleasure into one's home is truly AMAZING!!! Thank you, Roku! (Connection problem NOT fault of Roku.)&

I LOVE my Roku stick! When we opened it and hooked it up to our TV I had problems connecting it to our WIFI because of my old router. However, Roku customer support talked me through the whole thing and stayed on the phone with me until I was sure everything was working properly! It was some complicated steps but the customer service rep did a great job explaining everything and made it seem super easy. We even got cut off once but he called me right back. I can't wait to buy another ROku stick for every TV in my house!
