I have several roku's from the box style to the stick and enjoy them all and trouble free. I've been a roku customer for over two years now with 100% satisfaction.
We purchased the streaming stick for the bedroom TV, after we had purchased the Roku 3 for our living room TV. Set up couldn't be easier, and the video quality is superb. I have become an enthusiastic spokesperson for Roku. The hardware is easy to use, the programming content is staggering.
These Rokusticks were an update to my six year old Roku XR which still works but is very slow compared to these players. The Rokustick is a great streaming player and the channel choices are superb.
I bought this Product about a month ago and Love the product except for the remote. Some of the buttons don't work all the time. they stick or something!
The interface is easy to use and get used to. The options for apps are great as well. Three stars only because it freezes and lags all the time, which can be really annoying.
I've had mine for about a year. I use it almost exclusively to stream Netflix movies and for that purpose it works well. It is not without it problems, however. 1. The set-up and search process is fussy. Like texting with a flip phone. 2. For some reason, sometimes the remote seems to freeze or go brain dead. It especially seems to resist the Netflix menu. I often have to shut TV and ROKU down and start over to get to the Netflix movie menu. 3. The most annoying thing is that at the end of a film, as the credits begin to roll, ROKU decides which movie it thinks I want to watch next and starts queuing that one up over the credits of the one I just watched. Again, the easiest way I've found to interrupt this automatic process is to shut everything down. 4. If you have an indoor TV antenna, you may experience interference when both ROKU and the antenna are plugged into the TV. If so, ROKU does have a solution, but you must be persistent about it. It's a little HDMI-USB extender cable.
