I bought the Roku last month and am very happy with it. I have cancelled my cable subscription and am never without something to watch. The subscription channels like Netflix, Hulu, and amazon prime are great and much cheaper than cable. There are also some free channels if you search the channel store. My favorite is a western channel that shows old westerns from the 30's and 40's. The Roku is a great device and well worth the money.

So far, all good! Had the ROKU Streaming Stick for HDMI for 6 weeks and it was easy to set up. Very easy to use and I've enjoyed every moment.

HDMI Streaming Stick

Bought this a few months ago. I really like the seemingly endless number channels we can add to customize our Roku. My most used channel is Sling. It allows me to watch everything on my cable box without paying monthly to the cable company for an extra box. The Roku HDMI Streaming Stick is a welcome addition to our media center but unleasheshe it's true potential when paired with a slingbox from sling media. Have movies, shows, music or pictures on your computer you want to see on your TV? This possible with the Plex channel on Roku.

Disconnects every couple of days so I have to unplug, reconnect, and then wait for it to reboot. Extremely annoying/dangerous when TV is mounted above closet. Do not buy - get the roku 3 instead!
