Constantly rebooting the thing by unplugging it from both the power source and the HDMI port. It freezes a lot in spite of decent internet speeds. Happier with our Apple TV.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have Netflix and Amazon Prime that I used to have to connect my laptop to my HD-TV in order to watch tem. Now I just change my TV source to HDMI2 and use the remote to watch. I bought it at Best Buy where the salesperson only was knowledgeable in the box style units, 1 2 & 3. For example, she did not know that the USB power cord was included in the package, nor what the differences were between the stick and the other models.. However, I Knew I had a free HDMI port and a method to power the stick, so I thought, why should I buy the way more expensive box style when all I needed was the stick. Unless one is really into many many subscription services, the stick is all that one needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this maybe a month - 2 ago . And I have cut my cable bill in to a bare minimum. I adore my Roku . I wish I knew the differences between the sticks and players

Worked great when it worked. For 3 months it WAS awesome then it only played sound and no picture. Took it back for another and new one did same thing.
