Lots of options. Bad remote.

Wish we had bought this sooner. We were just streaming Netflix from our computer but the roku offers so many more options than I thought with all the free channels. It really does simplify things by bringing them all together. Only problem is that our remote just quit working and we've only had the device a bit over a month :/
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy setup, good quality, and so easy to use. My Amazon prime video never needs to buffer click on your favorite movie and enjoy.

Network Hog

Still an owner of a Roku 2 and was very happy with it. Purchased the stick for a second bedroom TV. After much consternation, I have discovered that it will not connect to our wireless router unless we disconnect other devices (i.e. Ipads, other Roku2, etc.) and will typically require a reboot of the cable modem or wireless router and usually both. Seems to be a network Hog, but when finally working - works great.
Only other concern is the temperature when left plugged in for extended time...of course we quit doing that because of network connection issues.

Great streaming stick, useless remote

The streaming stick works wonderfully however the remote hardly works at all even after new batteries. I have found that as long as I'm using my cellphone as the remote I get along with it very well!

I have a probable every time i turn it on I get a message saying this porgem is canceled.when i press the return to oringal screen bottom I get the menu
