the Roku streaming stick has tons of features it's very useful.we also found it superior to Apple TV for streaming content. overall a positive product we haven't had any trouble with it yet.

Nice alternative to Cable

When on a budget, cable can run in to a lot of money. We decided to try this as a cost saving alternative. We have been very happy with Roku.

Good idea but....

I'm happy that I purchased my Roku however, there is one setback. MOST of the apps that come with it have to purchased. I'm lucky I have a Netflix account but the other movie ones require a fee. In order to find something "free" you wont get quality on most of it. I would like to see them offer more for the price you pay. I have a phone that can give me at least 75% of the apps on the roku. So, IMO, it should be a step above my phone thats for sure.

This device is incredible! Not only do I get to watch what I want, when I want, in addition the Roku Streaming Stick also takes advantage of the Televisions on board USB port for the power needed to operate! I Love It!

Better than streaming from laptop but Disappointed

I wish I had known about the limited free content available to stream via Roku stick. Just cancelled cable and although Roku is much easier to use and has better video quality than streaming via HDMI connection to laptop, the channels do not have much to offer. Unless you want to pay for a subscription or per view, full episodes are not available on most "free" networks (ABC, CBS), only snips and such - even less than available streaming to laptop from network websites. Navigating the channels and finding the content worth watching is cumbersome. Not a bad one-time investment as a substitute for laptop streaming but does not offer nearly the content expected.
