Inexpensive window to entertainment opportunities

It's like a whole undiscovered world of audio-visual stimulation with many free programs of all sorts--radio, video, TV, movies, and stuff you never knew you could find. It's a little confusing and overwhelming at first, but when you start exploring, you'll be surprised at what's available.

Disappointing

Barely works , half the programs will only partially load. Have not experienced a great amount of increased viewing over Smart TV offerings.

Hardware Failed after three weeks of owning it

I was excited when I bought it. I immediately registered the device, spent a couple hours setting it up between registering with roku, downloading the apps and setting up each one. I was really enjoying it for the first three weeks with the exception of the delayed response of the remote, but then the device just started rebooting. I tried using different HDMI/UBS ports or even a different TV, but same results. I ended up returning it. The apps offerings are cool, but the streaming stick hardware is too new and unreliable. I'll probably buy it again if they get the kinks worked out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I recently purchased this for an older LCD TV to make is a smart TV well sort of smarter than it was now I can watch Netflix and Amazon from this TV. Also Roku offers an app for Funimation one the few that do offer it. I also have the Roku 3

I bought the Roku stick for me and my daughter. We love it sooo much! With cable you have no control over what programs play. Not so with my Roku! I'm in complete control.
