So good, I bought a second one!

I have had my first Roku for about 6 months. I decided to get a second one for my bedroom TV.
Now I can watch my shows without disturbing my wife.

Great Product

Bought the Roku stick to supplement basic cable programming. The stick is convenient & easy to set up. Turns your tv into a smart tv with a nice selection of channels to choose from. Only wish it was capable of going online like our smart blu ray player. Highly recommend!

A cinch for a Non-techie

The set up was simple enough. The letters for encoding, of course, are so small. I'll advise you to pick a simple code with letters that are close together. I was so clever with a "good" code and then had to go back and change it to make my life easier.

A bit too slow

I like the features of this streaming stick. But it takes forever to boot up. And navigating the menu is very slow compared to Roku 3 and ChromeCast.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Surprisingly Very Cool

I got the Roku Stick as a replacement for another streaming stick. I like all the channels in one location. Very easy to set up. You call Roku support if you do not want to use a credit card. The picture quality looks really sharp & plays back smoothly. I think it looks better than the cable. Adding Netflix & Hulu+ I was able to drop the cable. Live sports are not free but you can pay for the sports channel. Biggest negative is some of the channels like AE has clips not episodes. Overall - awesome product so I had to buy one for my Brother-in-law & Mother-in-law for Christmas.

Thought I would try this cool little unit for a few months and see if I can ditch the HUGE cable bill. It didn't take a Month.......

Cable company continued to increase rates and the cost benefit just got upside down. Roku gives me all the TV shows and Sports that I need. Certainly the wave of the future.
