got this just before Christmas I was a bit apprehensive about it because I had previously had a roku player, it only lasted a year and I didnt use it much. So far this player is working well and I like the portability of a "stick"

Who needs Cable?

We bought this a couple of weeks ago. Neither my husband or myself are very tech savvy, but this was not too bad to install considering. The only thing we had trouble with is the fact that our smart TV sets back in a recess of an entertainment center and not out in the open on a stand. After about a week of frustration because it was buffering and stopping we figured out that we needed to pull the TV out to the edge of the space it was setting in and once we did that, ROKU has worked perfectly. We are very excited about it now that it works consistently. We love the JW Broadcasting Channel and watch it all the time. It is great if you want to get rid of the Cable bills. It has all the channels we watch and we can select them as we want.

Remote does not work well

I have 2 roku devices, roku 1 and roku streaming stick. The remote on roku 1 works as well as any tv remote i have ever used. The remote on the stick is terrible, I often have to push a button or up/down arrow several times before the selection is made. I wish I had bought 2 roku 1's.

I bought a month or so ago, used it or a week and loved it. Stopped working after a week...just frozeeverything over and over. It's going back.

It does not work well with Apple products. Can not display iPhone or iPad contents on TV.

I purchased your Roku Stick. I did this because my sister raved about how wonderful your item was. I tried rerpeatly for 2 days for your item to connect. Once connected I tried to watch items such as Netflixs, Vudu, and several other programs that you offered. Unfortunatley all I got was sorry can't connected try again later. After 5 days I finally took the item back for a refund. I wish I better luck with this.
