stick is good remote not so much

I bought the roku stick around thanksgiving. The stick works fine. After a few hour it will stop. I believe it is just getting hot. The remote had some problems after a couple days but after resetting it worked for about a month. It has stopped working again and nothing I do will get it working again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My husband and I got one for Christmas and we love it. It's easy to set up and just as easy to use. I love that I can watch everything from Netflix to HBO Go on it. Highly recommend.

Remote is horrible

I've have two Roku 1's and I also can use my iphone 4 and 6. Nothing works without repeated tries. It gets very old. Half the time my iphone won't connect to the Roku and the other half the remote doesn't connect. Very frustrating. It would otherwise be fantastic.

Easy Set Up

This was just plug in to the HDMI port and into the wall and done!. There is a small amount of set up of password and wifi which is very user friendly. I ended up buying another flat screen and saved about $100 by not buying the smart version and buying another Roku stick instead.

Senior Citizen Succeeds

I have been thinking about installing one of these devices for a long time, but I wasn't sure I could handle the installation and programing. The installation was about as easy as plugging a lamp in the socket. The programing was more of a challenge, but some how I managed that also. So far, it works great for movies and TV shows.
I would recommend this to a friend!

USELESS STICK--NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS--ROKU STICK DOES NOT KEEP WIFI SIGNAL, TAKES 4EVER TO LOAD --WE HAVE 3 OTHER STREAMING UNITS ON OTHER TV'S & NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM--SUGGEST RCA OR PHILLIPS

Couldn't be easier

We have both the Roku 3 and the stick and they both work great. Installation and setup is a piece of cake. My daughter has Apple TV and the Roku user interface is much more user friendly. It's a great system.
