New to this whole streaming thing-I had no idea what my friends were talking about when they mentioned ROKU!
So with a bit of further investigation I quickly saw the benefits of purchasing it.

I really purchased it so I could watch "JW.TV/BROADCASTING" but soon found out that ROKU offers SO MUCH MORE!!
My husband soon realized that he could watch movies & YOU TUBE.
We also realized that we could access our PANDORA accounts & play background music via our TV!
I'm sure there is more to discover as far as what ROKU offers!

I ended up purchasing another ROKU for another TV in the house that is used quite frequently.
I also purchased 2 more ROKUs for a family members!
Everyone so far loves it!

It takes some effort to coordinate setting up w/passwords, email & accounts.
So those not familiar w/email will need some help.

This is my second Roku and I love it. Easy set up, easy to use. Lots of channels choices with many of them free.

Ok But...

Got this in Dec. 2014, It works ok but nor near as good as my other Roku devices. It seems to be slower on wyfi. My other devices run much faster all on same network.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this for a friend, but played with it before I gave it to him. If I buy myself a second Roku in the future, this will be the model I choose.

Overall I really like the Roku stick. My only objection is that when a show or movie ends on netflix the screen shrinks and I cannot read the credits.

Love it! Have been able to access lots of movies and TV programs that are current and old too. Have access to Hulu Plus, Netflix, Amazon music and various other media outlets. Simple to install and use.
