I purchased Roku to see Netfilx in my Television. Easy to set up. You have your gamut of obscure free channels and the subscribe ones. The system per se is "last century technology" : there is a 10 -20 seconds delay every time a key is pressed and the "Search" feature is horrible using the included remote since you have to type one letter at a time with a cursor, not a keyboard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its so small and takes up no space, no issues with remote not controlling device and I love the options for so many more channels than the old one.

My only real complaint is that the remote works only for 5 mins., after I change the batteries. Luck the ap for my cell works great.

I am a person who has never before watched movies,,maybe one or two a year.For me, this device is a life changer,it allows me to better select the things that I do want to watch.I love the features that allow you to pause ,save and or replay.Doing so allows me to walk the dog,or just to take a break and then watch the rest of the show.Thanks roku.

Easy and convenient. I travel a lot with my kids and I take this with us so no matter where we stop, they have access to their shows and movies, making the travel easier for them.

When I first ordered a Roku stick, the wires wouldn't stay in place well and it would disconnect quickly. They sent me a replacement and it works very well! I love my Roku and would buy another one.

Freezes up a lot

I am returning this streaming stick today because it freezes constantly. I have to unplug and replug it several times before it will respond to any buttons on the remote control. Really disappointed because otherwise it would be great.
