Great value for a streaming device! We already had other traditional Roku devices but we love that the Roku Streaming Stick is easy to transport when traveling or even moving from room to room. One suggestion for improvement to the Roku Streaming Stick is to make it a little more narrow since many TVs have HDMI slots positioned very closely together which means that the Roku stick overlaps and blocks the other ports. If it was sized more like the end of an HDMI cable then it would fit better to allow for other HDMI cables or devices to be plugged in next to it. Another suggestion is for devices to have a sleep mode or the ability to manually power down to conserve electricty. For Roku service it would be great to add Nickelodeon, Fox Sports channels, Food Network or Cooking Channel, more wildlife/nature channels, and home improvement/DIY channels. Overall our family loves all the Roku devices - they are compact in size, very easy to use and offer entertainment at a great value. We have been able to eliminate cable TV receivers and the associated monthly fees for several rooms thanks to Roku!!!

I picked this over other tv streamers because of the availability of different channels. But the screen mirroring between my laptop and the Roku really just takes the cake. Awesome product, and I would highly recommend!

I hated all the cables that came with watching streaming video through my BluRay player, so I looked into the Stick. Set-up was a bit cumbersome and difficult, but after that, it's working well. Loading is somewhat slow, but that is partially due to my internet service. I look forward to continuing to use this device when I upgrade my television - and so SlingTV in the near future.

easy to set up

I bought this Dec 2014 to use on a bedroom tv that isn't connected to the Direct TV. Was very easy for me to hook up and get it all set to go. Have used it only twice for the free channels. Haven't used any paid services since it gets so little use. I didn't like that I had to put in my credit card number for something I won't use. Other than that, I am very happy with what I have, for the use we do.

I have a Roku stick, Chromecast, and Amazon tv. Roku had the best apps and a search engine that finds video regardless of provider. Love it!

I could not get along without this little wonder. Wish I knew about this item before I purchased 2 Bluray players that didn't work well at all.
