I bought this to save money on my cable bill. works great, no lag, and plenty of options. only problem i have with it is that when i have closed captions turned off, they still pop up when watching movies, on vudu, and a couple other apps. this needs to be fixed. i went into settings to make them as unobtrusive as possible, but if i have them turned off they shouldnt come up at all.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My Roku Stick is amazing. I love it. So easy to set up and once it is set up you're set for life. My Roku plugs right into the usb port on my TV so I don't have to worry about cords and plugs. The Roku does everything an Apple TV can do but costs less than half the price and it is SO much better than a Chromecast. It also came with 3 months of Hulu & Radio free. SO HAPPY.

I bought the Roku 3500R because I signed up for Amazon Prime, and the Prime Streaming Stick was on back order, and wanted to watch my Amazon Prime now. The device works perfectly, and the picture is excellent. My main complaint is that I have not found an accurate, up-to-date list of all the Roku channels, including whether the channel is subscription or free, or has options for either being watched for free with commercials or for a fee w/o commercials. Going to channels one-by-one to find out about them is rather tedious.
