Allows my son to watch netflix without wires. So much nicer than using a game system to stream shows.

I enjoy the fact that I can choose which Chanels are on it. Unlike cable where you get a lot of shopping and infomercials. This way I can always find something I like on without having to wade through a bunch of wasted stuff that I don't want.

I have been watching Netflix and Amazon Prime via my laptop connected to my TV for almost three years. It worked, but it lacked in sound and image quality - plus, it was cumbersome. I finally caved and bought the streaming stick - SO GREAT! Picture quality is so much better, and I don't have to turn up the volume so much anymore!
I would recommend this to a friend!

loading time slow

I had old roku xs. compare to that this roku stick is very slow... return the item. Also stick is behind the tv... remove works little bit slower with that then regular roku. I would suggest to buy regular roku. Also remember, when you return you have pay for shipping plus Roku would cut their shipping cost too when they sent first time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy set up, flawless operation (so far after 6 mos), better than Google Chrome IMO, a bit pricier though

Works very good overall. The only issues I have seen so far, is that once in a while the picture goes a bit blurry, possibly due to a bandwidth issue, and also the play pause button sometimes does not get recognized right away. I have to hit it a number of times before the video pauses.
