WE HAVE HAD THE ROKU FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW AND SO FAR WE HAVE ACCESSED MAINLY NETFLX, WHICH ALLOWS US TO SEE MANY OF THE SEARIES WE HAVE HEARD OF LIKE BREAKING BAD, HOUSE OF CARDS.

Easier than I thought!!!

I was apprehensive about setting this up on my own. But, it was easier than I thought! I am 65 and not especially techno savvy. I enjoy seeing my Amazon prie movies on my larger tv than my computer. Great buy and inexpensive!

Better than nothing but temperamental and *slow*

I bought this product mainly because of its price and its size (hey, can take it anywhere, use it on other televisions around the house). Setup is relatively easy. Plenty of channels and streaming choices. My main problems with it are (1) it is *slow* (slow to boot up, interface, response) and (2) temperamental (we get regular connection errors/problems that we don't get with any other device in the house, at times Netflix and Hulu are almost unwatchable). I've caught my wife (for whom I bought it) just give up, turn it off, and watch something on her Kindle instead. Well that sort of ruins the whole point of buying the television + Roku right?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We were at the last of the videos at our local library when I first heard of ROKU. So far, we've stayed on the cheap side and have only used the free services of the ROKU stick. Even the free entertainment seems unlimited. A month in, I feel we've gotten more than our money's worth.

Roku replaces cable subscription

I replaced the Roku "box" with the streaming stick. It was so easy to install that I'm still amazed (I'm a white haired-old lady with few tech skills). All I had to do is push the stick into a USB port and plug a wire to electricity. The hardest part was to follow the instructions on the TV screen (screen name and password), which took just minutes. I'm thrilled with the streaming stick and all the programs, channels and movies available. I can save money by canceling my cable subscription. Thank you ROKU!
