Great for what it is

We have two Roku 3's and love them. We bought the stick to use in our exercise room thinking we could also use it when travelling. I'll keep this review simple:
Pros: It's a Roku. It works, and works well.
Cons: It's slow. Netflix takes a noticeably long time to load, for instance. The lack of volume control on the remote means we're constantly shuffling between remotes. Lame.
I know this is a cheaper alternative to the Roku 3, and they have to cut costs *somewhere*. SO the cons I've listed above are clearly related to the areas where they chose to keep this inexpensive (slower processor, less controls on the remote).
All in all, I would recommend the stick provided that the cons didn't matter to whomever I was recommending it to.
Personally, I wish I had just sprung for another Roku 3.

My goal was to set up streaming content on a small HDTV set in a basement work area. I considered all the other streaming products, but in the end the Roku Streaming Stick hit the right combination of features, ease of use, and price point.
Very satisfied so far, set up was fairly straightforward, connected to my home wireless network with no issues.

I love this, BUT the Only thing that Doesn't work properly is Netflix...it causes my television to Lose it's sounds EVERY TIME, I don't understand why!!!!! Other than that I love the Roku; I have a ready built tv with Roku, the streaming stick, and Roku 2......
