Works great, but they were cheap

So far, my roku player works great. However, the included batteries expired 6 months prior to my purchase, and they died a few weeks after purchase. I am concerned that if Roku was cheap here they might have been cheap elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought my Roku streaming stick over a year ago on the recommendation of my sister. Recently I decided to try it, what a wonderful surprise? I am so happy that I did.

Works amazingly well for such a small device

I bought this stick to stream workout videos on a small tv. It has performed perfectly. I have rebooted it only once and that was an issue with my Plex server. It has freed me from having to wait for the DVD player to boot and que up the video. I bought a second one for guest bedroom and have a Ruko 4 for the 4K tv in the main room. It is not nearly as fast as the Ruko 4 and I wouldn't use it a my main streaming source as it is slow to load channels.

Great Alternative to TV

Friends had recommended this for several years, finally bought one. Really love it. No more commercials! Hardware is easy to setup. But, they need to include the instructions for timing of software setup. Set up your Roku account first or it gets dicey on the setup, and make sure you are in the Roku site before you plug in the hardware.

Works fine, just like our regular Roku box. However, response time when hitting buttons such as pause, forward or arrows is slow (or a inconsistent delay). Same issue on use with Youtube, Netflix, Amazon, etc.
