Not a fan of Roku. I am using it because it was one of the cheapest options but I would use something different in a heart beat if I could. The remote only works every now and then. When paired to Ipad or Iphone it only works half the time. Also when watching TV upstairs on a Samsung smart TV, which I would use downstairs but doesn't support Hulu Plus, I can't watch Netflix on Roku downstairs. Very much a pain in the rear.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Product - Easy Setup - Many selections/programs to choose from - this was a gift and the non-techie recepient mastered its usage immediately.
The HDMI port was in the rear of an older TV - no problem with the remote signal

Just what we needed!

We just purchased our first flat screen (Smart) TV. We are big fans of BBC series,both comedies & mysteries and we were, initially, disappointed with Acorn TV on-line not being supported by our new TV. It did take us a couple of days to figure out that a Roku stick would provide us with exactly what we needed! We are VERY HAPPY with it!

I LOVE MY ROKU!

When I moved in with my roommate, she brought the Roku. I had to purchase one of my own, and I decided to get the stick. I love that its small, compact, and doesn't involve any cords. It also is speedy and lets me watch all my favorite things on TV. Thank you!
