Great device but sporadic issues

I love the features of the Roku stick but 2 weeks after installing I had audio issues with the sound cutting out every 1 to 2 minutes and horizontal lines would sporadically appear. I re-installed the stick but the problem still existed. After a couple of days the problem miraculously went away. Then, the channel logos somehow disappeared at my Home screen. I played around with the settings but nothing fixed the problem. Again, miraculously they eventually reappeared. Now that everything is running smoothly I am very happy with my purchase and use it often for streaming movies and TV shows.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this a month ago and its a lot slower than our other roku(s)! It also loses wifi connection a lot while everything else in the hse works fine on our wifi! I would recommend that you spend a few extra $$$ and get the roku 2or3 not the stick... Wish I did!!!

I bought this a month ago and very happy with my Roku. Today I cancelled the cable it's so much cheaper and have many options to watch TV.

Bought this for my daughter's TV and when we go up to our vacation condo we will take this along and view content and stream our OTA HD TV without having to pay for Cable TV at our vacation property.

Need Web Page search capability

My biggest beef with Roku is that you can't go to a web page such as Internet Explorer or Google and surf the web.
Another issue is that it is disappointing that many of the clips are only a minute long that you watch. Some of the apps advertise movies, then you get into the app and find there's only 15 movies.
Thirdly, when I add an app which appears to be free, you get inside and find out it's really not free. There should be a definite separation of free and non-free apps.
Otherwise, it's interesting and has a lot of potential.
