I've got a Roku 3, Two Chromecast sticks, and recently added a Roku stick to a TV in another room. Works every bit as good as the Roku 3 - and much better than the Chromecast stick.

I brought the roku 2 in 2014 and it works great. So many movies and shows to watch. I recommended it to my family and friends.

Roku Streaming Stick

We recently got rid of Cable and bought the Roku 3 for our family room. It works ok but no live sports or live news that we have found. We also bought the stick for our bedroom and it has a lot of studdering and goes out. I bought a repeater for our internet even though it is only 50 ft from the router. It didn't help. I am simply not happy with it at all. I haven't taken it back yet but probably will, Also haven't figured out how to get all the information on it as I have on the 3. It seems that I have to sign up for every program and I already it on the 3.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought the Roku stick because my Apple TV does not support Amazon Prime. I have Netflix as well and am finding the Roku has a better/easier to use remote than the Apple TV. I've switched to using the Roku for Netflix as well.

We bought the streaming stick at Christmas and have never looked back. The amount of money we are saving versus direct TV paid for the stick in just a week really.
