Turned my old LCD TV into a Smart TV!

I am so happy that I can now watch Netflix, Hulu Plus, etc. in my bedroom on my old Vizio TV.This was so simple to set up and now I can watch my shows and movies. I do wish there was an internet browser too but I can mirror from my phone so that solves that issue. I even gave my son one for Christmas and he said it was the best gift ever!

I have three Roku's in my home and recommend them to anyone. If you have a newer model flat screen tv, go with the Roku stick. For the older models go with Roku 1 or 2 , however they also can be used on newer models with the addition of a HDM cable.
Great product for a reasonable price.

I hate the stick. It is always konking out and east batteries constantly. I have to change batteries several times a week which is twice as aggravating because it is not working most of the time anyway. It is very tempermental
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great selection of programming

I have been having a bit of trouble with my remote freezing up. I tried putting in new batteries, thinking that they might be defective. That didn't work well but if I take the batteries out and put them back in, it works for a while. If I keep taking the batteries out and putting them back in, it works great. I also have a Roku 3 which I love.

I've had the Roku for about a month now and since I've had it, I haven't watched my normal cable channels much at all. This thing is awesome, there is always something to watch.
