Amazingly compact and capable.

This is everything I've come to expect from a Roku. I have 3 boxes in my house, and the stick is just as smooth and powerful as the rest. My only annoyance is the power. Since I have it powered through a USB outlet on the TV, it basically shuts down every time I turn off the TV. Shutting down isn't the problem, as much as starting up from being totally off every time It's a delay. A minor one, to be sure, but an annoyance, nonetheless. Be aware of that if you plan to power your Roku Stick from the TV USB port...

I like the streaming stick better than the box-type model I have on another tv in my home because: It does not take up additional space and does not require a separate power cord. Also, my other model needs to be rebooted every two or three weeks to correct an issue where it gets stuck and does not respond. I have had the streaming stick for a little over a month and have had zero issues of any kind.
I really dislike the remote, especially when when watching tv in a dark room. The navigation buttons are as dark in color as the rest of the remote so they are hard to see - contrasting color would make them easier to see in a darker room. Also, it is too easy to hit one of the buttons in the bottom for Netflix, Amazon, etc. when you pick the remote up. You are immediately ejected from your program and have to renavigate to it from scratch. I installed a Roke remote app on my iPhone and use it exclusively unless I have houseguests and they hate the remote too.

Turned my "Dumb TV" into a smart tv!

A week after deciding to watch House of Cards on my tv and realizing that I couldn't, I had my Roku Stick in hand, installed and happily spent the next few days getting to know the Underwoods! From researching how to stream from the internet onto a dumb tv, picking a product, ordering, delivery and installation, Roku was the best choice.
I would recommend this to a friend!
