the little stick with big features

I got it for a Christmas gift and I love it!! easy to set-up endless hours of fun. searching out new channels and watching media that I want to see. the one down side to this stick "No OFF Button" on the stick. That's my complaint or issue has nothing to do with performance. Once I sit down I don't really wanna get back up just to turn unit off(unplug power cord). Over all I give this unit five stars. Thank you

The Best Pocket-Sized Entertainment Player

This is a great little entertainment player perfect for traveling to multiple locations. The user interface is extremely simple and easy to use, although boot-up is a bit slow. You can download many, many apps from the online store and use them instantly. I mostly use this in conjunction with Vudu's app which I store many movies on. I love the Streaming Stick because I would then have my entire movie library, and then some, all in the palm of my hand. I believe this has display mirroring for some Android or Microsoft products and it would be nice if it could mirror the iOS and Mac devices too. The thing I wish it had though would be the capability of saving and remembering different wifi networks and passwords so that I don't have to retype the password for each house that I go to. Since this is an extremely portable device, it would be nice if there was some sort of little carrying case or bag (or even a cap over the HDMI plug) specifically designed to hold the device, cabe, and remote. This is not Roku's fault but I really wish Xfinity had a Roku app to watch a bunch of movies and TV shows on demand. Overall for the price, this is by far the best ultra-portable media and entertainment player on the market to date.

Awesome device few flaws

I bought this product for my sibling last month it works great but is slow when it comes to Netflix and YouTube. Other than a slow startup time YouTube works great. Netflix however has a slow startup time and is fine during playback however rewinding and fast forwarding is VERY laggy hope an update can fix it

The best Christmas gift I received. Got it because I lowered my cable to basic to save money and wanted to watch Netflix on my tv. Got so much more than just that!

Originally I was streaming using my blu-ray player but about 45 minutes into a show or movie, I would lose the connection. With the Roku unit no problems every time .

Is much slower than using the box. We had trouble fitting it into our main TV so it is in a different one. We have the roku 3 with the box on our main TV and that works great. We also can't seem to get as many channels on it as we can on the roku 3. We can't get games on it.
