As an owner of Apple TV, and a WD Play TV, I can honestly say that the Roku streaming stick is by far better than both of those. Picture quality is perfect, response time is fast, interface is very intuitive and easy to maneuver. Just love this thing, especially given the price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

easy to use

We got this for our kids for Christmas but I use it as much as they do and love it! I love that it can easily be used on any tv with an HDMI port. We can use on any tv in our house and my daughter even brought it up to Maine one weekend. I haven't tried it yet, but I would assume we can use ot on our laptop with an HDMI port also.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am glad I choce the Roku player. I read other reviews and they all confirmed what I know now that the unit streams great for the good price.

Very disappointed

Had to go thru the set up process multiple times to get it to work and then never got more than 1 show thru Netflix to work. Even pandora wouldn't play. I gave it a good try for a week because I really wanted it to work but ended up returning it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Got this as a gift for Xmas and if is so easy to use. I'm horrible with technology but I fiugered id give it a go and try to set it up, beyond easy and quick set up. LOVE THIS. I use the roku everyday!

I got this as a Christmas gift and in general I really like it. I love it when it's working, the problem is it seems to get loose from its hdmi port and it looses its connection. I've checke, it's not being pulled or weighted down it just seems to slip a bit and not connect. When it connects, I LOVE it!
