Much better than the original roku

I like the stream stick so much better. Customer service was great when I was trying to configure the stream stick since I already had roku it would work immediately. They walked me thru it and in minutes both were running perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Advertising Omissions

The device and the programming one is able to receive is entirely dependent on the cable or dish provider you already PAY. If you are trying to replace the monthly high cost of a cable provider by buying a Roku, don't bother. All of the stations you would like to watch require you already pay for the service through some one else....so why do I need a Roku ...to watch what I already pay for?

I have not found a way to use the Roku Streaming Stick to view programs without subscribing to an extra cost service. The streaming Stick and its remote were very easy to setup. But there was very little content available without buying a service. The advertisement of thousands of free items has not worked for me.
Although I have a fast data service, the free content was slow to load.

My son got this for me for Christmas for my bedroom TV. Very easy to use, many free selections and I very happy with this product.

Roku Streaming Stick

I have had this device for about 8 months now and have had a lot of issues with it freezing up and having to be set up again which can be a hassle. When it works without freezing up It is an awesome product but it has frozen up at least 3 times during the 8 months I have owned it. I also have the ROKU 2 which costs less but has never frozen up.
I would recommend this to a friend!
