I bought this and at first it would freez and go yo a black screen. I was going to return it. I have not because it is working as it should.

we bought this to go with the brand new tv we got our daughter or Christmas and its one of the best things she got too she says kinda makes you feel good too it came with so much plus what we v already bought or down loaded too shes loving it

I was given the Roku for a Christmas gift and I love it. Not one problem from setting it up to being able to watch TV shows and movies.

The Remote is terrible

I got this product for Christmas and Honestly I wish I would have gotten the Google or Apple TV because the Remote just stopped working and I have tried everything. I have to use the app to be able to use Roku. The streaming has problems to. This is no caching so is pauses all the time. The interface is good and simple but the other issues have me wanting to do something else and I've only has the product less then a month.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great value for the price

I previously owned a Roku player but it did not display full HD 1080p and didn't allow profiles in Netflix. I wanted these features but probably not enough to justify the price of the Roku 3. The streaming stick was a good option to give me what I want but at a modest cost. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is just because of the processing speed of the device - to be clear, the shows and movies work seamlessly - it just takes a fairly long time to access a particular streaming service (e.g. Netflix) and then for the chosen show or movie to play. Still, I'm very satisfied with the value for money I'm getting. Meanwhile, the choice of content I have access to is excellent.
