Best thing since sliced bread. I would make the HDMI plug a little sturdier though, it seems a little wobbly and I really have to watch how I use it, so as not to break it. But it has already given me hours of entertainment.
I bought the Roku stick about 5 months ago and everything was going great. I love it because I can easily move it between my tv in my bedroom and my tv in my living room. A couple day ago, however, it had been working fine all day and then randomly would no longer connect. It kept saying 'no signal' after the ROKU buffer page. Luckily, I was able to reset my stick and get it working again, but I read many reviews that said the stick will stop working after awhile, unfortunately after the 90 day warranty is up and it is a pain talking with customer service. So I guess we'll see how long it lasts after the reset ...
I was overall very happy until i started having issues with the sound. There are some times i turn the Roku on and shows have no sound. But when the sound is working its great!
My brother recommended I take the plunge and become "hip" with a Roku. He was right, easy to set up, easy to use, easy access to almost anyone's area of interest. My spouse was thrilled to see all the arts related programming. Our daughter likes the YouTube, especially 'Claire's Wears' rainbow loom tutorials in HD on the television.
My family got the Roku stick for Christmas it is by far the best thing ever. We literally don't need cable anymore. What an awesome little gadget. Easy to use and fun for all.
