First purchase stop working within 4 months

This device is excellent when working. Had to return first stick when it stopped working. I seem to have overheated. Ended up pay full price when first failed unit was purchased on sale. I also have a roku 3 and the quality & selection are great.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I received the Streaming Stick as a Christmas present, and it's been a wonderful adjunct to my HDTV. Easy setup, wonderful picture quality, and a lot of free channels. Not perfect, mind; the Disney channels aren't available in all areas, and you need a credit card to activate your Roku. Still, not a bad investment.

A Whole New Experience

I am thrilled. This is my first experience with streaming broadcast shows. I could not be happier. It couldn't be easier to use and the variety of programming is endless. No more cable for me.

we can also take back our extra cable control box because we get cable on the roku and saves us $9.00 per month
