Received Roku as a Christmas gift, was skeptical because of the price, but works just as well, if not better than the other higher price streaming devices on the market.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Piece of junk

I bought a streaming Roku and the remote has quit working after only a month. As far as I am concerned it is a piece of junk. I had to call Roku when I initially attempted to install it and they had to tell me how to go to the "secret screen" and reload the factory install before I could even get it to work.
I have a regular Roku and have not had this kind of trouble. The streaming Roku is a waste of money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this for our 11 year old daughter for Christmas. It was not a gift we were looking for; just happened to come across it while shopping. It was a great buy for several reasons: A great surprise to our daughter, friends can spend the night and stay up late watching movies and now there's no fight over what is watched! LOL Hubby also steals it for our room when she's not home. Now I need to get me one!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got this for Christmas. Works as expected. We were disappointed that in order to see the Disney Channel and some of the food ones, you already had to have a cable subscription, which the reason we got this is because we don't want to pay for cable.

Works great with one hiccup. Dolby 5.1 doesn't work on Netflix. Haven't called tech support to resolve.
