Remote never worked

I much prefer my Apple TV to this. The remote never worked and I had to download the app to my phone ... It's pretty cruddy but at least I have Netflix and Hulu on my second tv now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Bad

I really love Roku products. I have the Sharp Roku TV in another room of my house. I have the original squarish Roku from a few years ago. Theyre great. This one is good too, but it's a bit slow. You see, all the functionality is there, it just takes a little bit longer to process the commands you give it. Sometimes that gets annoying, especially if you are just browsing for shows instead of quickly resuming a previously viewed item. Other than that, its awesome!

Portable and Easy to Use

I bought this so we can stream Netflix and other programs to our tv in the bedroom. We have Apple TV on the basement tv; so this streaming device works well. I like that it is portable; so we can move it to one of our other TV's.

Love the size and ease of use

I've used both the original Roku box (Roku 2) and the Roku Streaming Stick now. I bought the stick at Fred Meyer. At the time, I really needed to save money and when I saw the price of the Roku 3 and even the older versions, I hesitated. The Roku Stick was the best price, so I decided to give it a try.
I don't plan on going back to the bulky box because the stick works just as well but has the extra plus of being small and easily portable! Setup involves plugging the stick into the HDMI port in the back of your TV and plugging the cord into the wall, then connecting to WiFi. Add the apps you want (my favorites are Netflix, Amazon Prime, PBS, PureFlix), log in to them, and you're off! Quality is excellent.

Me and my family loved it we don't really watch TV so we don't pay for cable Roku is a great alternative we pay for Netflix which is cheap plus roku has dozens of free channels especially for kids we love having it we get to watch what we want when we want. The Roku is Affordable easy to setup and use plus it helps me control what my children watch I recommend it to everyone I know with or without children

I got this as a gift and just love it. For some reason it would not play on the big t.v. in the family room but would work off a t.v. in the bedroom. Can't figure out why it won't work on the family room t.v.
