Works Great

I had been using a Chromcast my son purchased for me and it worked really nice. But I travel a lot and use mobile wireless for viewing movies and the Chromcast required me to have to mobile devices to work properly, one for wireless the other to control the viewing.
The Roku Streaming Stick allows me to use one wireless device and comes with its own remote eliminating the need for a second wireless device. Much simpler to use with the same high quality of viewing content.
We are very happy with the results.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought mine the day after Christmas with a gift card I got, about 3 weeks later it stopped working.

I bought this because of its portability and its many many channels Iown a Roku lite which I like very much but the stick is tremendous the stick is so good I am buying one for my daughter

Very happy and surprised it was so small yet we get every channel we need. Only problem is the remote is not as user friendly as some others.

Roku is what I was looking for, but needs work

I bought the Roku and it works great for my Netflix, HBO Go, etc. watching. I love it. It's pretty fast and does what it needs to. I tested the Amazon Fire stick and was thoroughly disappointed. I love the Roku and would recommend it, however I do have one issue. Miracast using my LG G Flex doesn't work and that's one of the reasons I bought the Roku. That app is beta but needs to be fixed to support all phones.

You have to pay for any good content - and the one obviously missing component is an Internet browser / if you can view pictures from your phone then not the Internet?? I guess because you can watch stuff for free online!

This was a gift from my son for Christmas. He enjoys his and so he gave me one as a gift. It is the best gift ever. It is a simple and easy product to set up. We watch more movies. I recommended this to my sister and she ordered one last week.

Got it for Christmas. PROS: Remote, many content channels, music channels. CONS: Setup is long and you need a credit card or PayPal. Also I had to connect it to a wall charger for it to work. My tv doesn't put out the required power with the usb port. Once the setup is complete this thing great.
