Easy to Install

We are renting a condo for the winter and have a "smart TV" at home. We are Amazon Prime members and purchased the Roku device to continue to view the Amazon movies. The Roku was easy to install and worked the first time. Instructions for use were easy to follow.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought the Roku with the idea that I could get to 1000's of channel via networking instead of having to go through a cable or dish service. WRONGO me Bucko....
Instead most of the stations I wanted to add needed to have a service to view them via the Roku stick. So I returned it and went back to my antenna and blue ray player for my viewing options.
Now that said the stick did work and it would make it more convenient to use than your cable or dish I suppose. But since I have cut the cord and broke the dish I can't really comment on any improvement in that area.
This probably didn't help much unless like me you thought it was a way to bypass the the pay for all to view a few service.

Best Gift!

I received my Roku as a Mothers' Day gift from my daughter. It opened up a whole new world of viewing enjoyment for me. I have only had one problem: with my set up the module overheats and I have had to put a fan directed on it and unplug it when not in use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a piece of junk...

I have 2 Roku boxes and have been pretty happy with those products. However, this roku stick is a piece of junk. I spent more hours on the phone with technical support then it was worth in the saving between this device and the boxes. I ultimately ended up returning it because it neve worked properly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
