Great to have, but not always cooperative...

The Roku is a great gadget, but the remote doesn't work at least half the time. I have to pull the batteries out of it and pop them back in just to get it to work.

I HAVE TWO ROKU. AN OLDER ROKU AND THE NEW STREAMING STICK. THE STREAMING STICK IS SO EASY TO SET UP. MY GRANDDAUGHTER USES IT EVERYTIME SHE COMES OVER. SO EASY TO USE AND ENJOY.

Too many connection to server issues. I always get we apologize for the inconvenience. Always have to reboot. I even got an internet extender to boost signal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought this streaming stick in early January. It works great but sometimes I have to unplug and then replug it in.

Useful but remote already broken

I bought by first Roku three months ago. As awesome as it is, I'm disappointed that the remote is already broken. I've tried new batteries and resetting it. I expect my technology to last longer than 3 months!

Cut the cord go with Roku

When I bought this I wanted to check out this before I cut the cord and I am glad I bought this because of all of the channels I can get. Sick and tired of cable reality shows one after another this way I don't have to watch garbage like that and I can get and watch what I want with Roku.

Get the Roku 3 instead of the stick.

I wish that I had purchased the Roku 3 instead of the stick. I have had several issues with loading programs. After following included directions and trying to fight it myself, I contacted technical support and was able to get help with resetting the stck and then with re-pairing the remote. It has been working much better now, but I wish that I had gotten the Roku 2, I think the size of the box and the fact that it isn't behind the television would make a difference in catching and keeping the wireless signal.
I love my Roku, just wish I had gotten the 3 instead.
