Slow to start up but works fine

I bought the stick to use where space was at a premium. The only issue is that the stick goes through a full start up / reset every time it's accessed. Once started it works the same as my Roku 3 with no difference in streaming speed. I do have good WiFi reception in this location, it's very near the router. All in all a great buy for the price.

Roku stick has major issues

I love the channel selection. When it works, it's great. However, very often I cannot get the remote to register, and I have to turn the TV off and on several times or unplug the power to the stick from the back. This is a HUGE pain. I wish there were a solution for this.

Roku forces you to give your credit card to setup

It's a nice compliment to a Google Chromecast. Not as user friendly and quick as the Chromecast, but it will give you access to other channels that Google thought nobody watched.

Love the variety!

I purchased Roku in December for my grand daughter. She loves it and so do I. Her favorite feature is being able to mirror her iPad for school projects. I like being able to have additional movie options.

purchase a month ago so far it lots of channel some you have to pay for didn't care for that but I guess that ok but I would tell others that it a good product myself I watch lots of movies so I do enjoy it.

Not only do I have two Rokus in my home, I gave one to a friend for Christmas. She said that she really didn't watch much television--probably because there's nothing to watch! She has been glued to the tube ever since.

Does most of what was expected

Bought a month ago, happy with it but longer Facebook videos won't play, Mozilla Firefox is the only browser available and it and Yahoo mail do not work. HDMI means the stick plugs into your HDMI input, but content won't stream in HD quality
