I bought it during Christmas 2014. I am enjoying it as much as my apple tv, for half the price, wish i had known this earlier would have saved myself around $50. Rented the movie Gone Girl for a couple of dollars less than I would have had to pay on iTunes.

Purchased a 60 inch flat screen a few years ago and was very disappointed to find out it was not a smart but with the Roku I don't have to worry about that any longer product works perfectly and is wonderful

This product is great! I love it and would recommend it to anybody. The only thing I would improve is the way you have to "type" in your information on the screen. That takes forever. Only that that no complaints.

I bought this for my parents for Christmas, and after it took me hours to hook up (and working with both our cable/internet company & roku support) - it barely ever works. You have to unplug it & restart the device every time you want it to work, and even then, it doesn't always come on. It takes forever to load anything & drops shows all the time. I want to return it, but don't want to be out the money.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased a new TV and the Roku stick. The video quality was extremely poor and not HD.
