This is our 3rd Roku device, so we obviously love their products. The "stick" is much more limited in scope than the boxes, but more than makes up for it in ease of use and being able to effectively not have an extra device sitting near your TV. I would buy a Roku box for a frequently watched TV with high resolution, and the stick form for all other TVs.
I bought this to use in hotels when I travel and it worked great even with fairly low signals. The only drawback is you have to call the hotel's IT desk, give them the MAC address of the stick (located on the bottom of the stick) to get it authenticated. Took about two minutes, and the stick was online. The setup was quick and easy.
At the suggestion of friends we tried it. My wife and I are very happy with our Roku Streaming Stick. It took some time to learn how to use it but, once we got pass that adjustment we were very happy with the results. We are so glad we brought it!
My husband bought me this for Christmas because I watch mostly shows that are streamed from Acorn and Netflix on my laptop. Now I can connect to my TV's either in my bedroom or living room and watch very easy to do. I really like it and am very glad I got it. Works very well.
