WE PURCHASED THE ROKU STREAMING STICK A MONTH AGO, LOVE THE ABILITY TO VIEW SO MANY MOVIES, TV SHOWS, ECT. ONE PROBLEM IS THE REMOTE ALMOST EVERY TIME WE TURN ON WE HAVE TO EITHER ADJUST THE BATTERIES OR PUT IN NEW ONES. WE HAVE THE PROGRAM ON OUR IPAD AND SOMEDAYS THAT IS HOW WE GET AROUND THE TURN ON AND OPTIONS

I have a box and a stick. The box is hard wired and start up is immediate. The stick works great after getting started. It is a little slow on start up.

I bought this about a month ago ,not impressed at all.I dont think its Rokus product fault but it has to stop and buffer about every 4-5 mins on evrything ive tried to watch . I had trouble setting it up and called Tech support.he couldnt help and said it was a bad unit .i bought 2 and got the 2nd working .Im trying to send them Back now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Have tried other products and this works the best. Having its own remote makes it much easier for people to use movie channels.

Could not use due to low (download) capability

Area where I live (rural) didn't have enough download strength to allow me to get any programs. Would love to utilize this fine product as it was a gift from my granddaughter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works great. I have DSL internet (10mb download, 768k upload), and no problem streaming what so ever. I am seriously considering just dropping my cable bill, because I never watch it anyway. I am in a good location for antenna tv, and as far as news goes, I always watch it on the internet anyway. As far as movies go, I have amazon prime, and a VUDU account for when I buy movies anyway, so I see the Roku as the only device I need.

We only have antenna TV and had been getting Netflex by mail - this makes it so much easier should we want to watch more than one movie in a weekend.
