Easy to install

I was disappointed in the remote I thought ity came with ear phone ect. Now I see a new and improved Roku, I am happy with the Roku I have never want to be with out it. I take it on trips with me.

It does what it claims,streams the web to your not so smart tv.If you want to get rid of cable or satellite this is not for you. I have found that many channels require a subscription to something in order to get the programs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The stick that extinguishes Amazon's Fire stick.

Love this stick. We already had a Roku 2 XS in our daughter's room, and bought two of these sticks during the holidays (one for our other daugther's room, one for our bedroom). I like the stick better than the traditional Roku because it eliminates having something else sitting on the shelf, and because of the power it has. We already had Sling TV boxes, so being able to sling from our cable boxes eliminated the need to have a box in the rooms where we have the Roku devices - and it works with PlayOn as well, which we use quite a bit. FireTV what? I'm sure the Fire is a great device for folks that do nothing BUT Amazon and shop no where else, but it is outclassed by the Roku in flexibility and practical use in every way.
