My Roku has replaced my Apple TV!

Love the Roku! The stick is easy to install, and user friendly. I had Apple TV and added this so I could access Amazon Prime...now I have so many more viewing choices with the Roku I never use my Apple TV.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's a good gadget, but it is very, very slow. It may be a good choice for a dumb TV or a computer monitor. They're is no wired network input, so check that the device is within you wireless range.
Apart from these shortcomings, Roku is an excellent entertainment service, especially so because it integrates so many providers, starting from Netflix and Amazon, down to very obscure ones.
Looking forward to a device that can stream 4K content and that is at least 10 times faster. Meanwhile, my TV Internet support beats Roku stick hands down.

If your intent is to replace cable/satellite...... this isn't for you. Roku has some decent content but not standard programming you might be searching for.

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical that the Roku Streaming Stick would live up to the hype. How wrong I was. It's fast, Portable (easily moved from TV to TV) and it's features are as good (if not BETTER) than my Apple TV . It's definitely more responsive and more intuitive. 5 Stars.. Well done ROKU

This was a Christmas gift. I really like it except for a couple of things. One, sometimes it drops the connection, and I have to reload it again and fast forward to where I left off. Secondly, I need a manual that fully explains how to fully use the Roku. The little brochure did not go into enough detail or explain enough.

We bought the Roku a month ago and really enjoy being able to see our shows through various channels. The search function is awesome. The only drawback that I have noticed is the remote. Occasionally it will quit working so I have to pull out a battery put it back in then it works fine again. Otherwise a great value.
