Bought the stick and it was working well. It stays on the TV connected the HDMI port and powered by AC. Once an update/upgrade was done it has been working very poorly and has effected the WIFI access to the stick. Video has been poor and the stick is sluggish. I ended up buy an Amazon Fire TV that has worked flawlessly.
I have found that regular TV with cable is limiting in what you can and when you watch. I find Roku gives me more variety and can let me set my own times to watch what I like.
The only thing I can find wrong is, if it is not being used I have to unplug the power and unplug it from the tv. It gets hot and then freezes up if you leave it on tv all the time. It does not say in the directions to unplug it.
I have three Roku's and a blue ray streamer. I love the Roku's for the small size and the stick for the convenience, but the blue ray provides a better display of Netflix options and details. I find the set up tedious. It isn't that difficult, but the process is time consuming and frustrating. I'm always glad when it's over and having to do the set up with each separate television seems redundant.
