Great piece of gear

My son got this for me mainly because I travel frequently and he wanted me to keep up to date on shows. Hotels appear to have roadblocks to using this stick and some TVs do not have enough space to insert the stick and cord into the tv. We were able to figure some workaraounds but have not been able to try it out internationally. It is very easy to use at home but i gave it 4 stars for problems connecting in hotels.

Great Quality Product

The Roku works great on my TV and I use it all of the time. It is simple to use and compatible with many stations including Amazon Instant Video, HBO Go and Showtime Anytime. Just make sure the area in the back of your TV is large enough for the ROKU stick to fit. I had to do some maneuvering to make it fit.

Good Device, with only one, minor flaw

Good device ... the *only* problem I have (also reported by others) is that the remote occasionally looses its connection to the HDMI stick, and needs to be re-connected.

Good while its working

Everything work extremely well and was very pleased, but after 90 days surround sound audio from Netflix and Amazon no longer works I get message unsupported audio content. I tested same content on Apple TV and Fire TV stick and it works fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The stick is the second Roku product I own and couldn't be happier with the whole idea of streaming TV. The early model set top unit worked really well (like a VW bug) but the Streaming Stick is really a generation ahead (like a Jaguar coupe). It is full of content and quick to change between channels. I bought one for my dad and he bought a second one for the bedroom. I recommend it to everyone who asks.

I bought the stick to replace the Roku box I had given to my daughter. Easy to navigate thru. Easy to setup. Small and compact, can't see it. I would definitely recommend this product.
