The rewind/ft preview slow with the stick, takes time to catch if at all. I have tried 2 sticks. The box is much faster. Still a great product regardless!

Better than cable

A good choice of channels however WAY TOO many commercials on a lot of movies. A lot of them I can find on you tube or other sites commercial free. You have to pay to get rid of the ads so if this persists then probably better off paying for cable. That being said the quantity of channels and content is better than cable.

I bought this over a month ago and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. I am able to access Acorn which I truly enjoy and there are so many other outstanding features with the Roku Stick!!

I am happy with the product, however the remote battery compartment is problematic. Occasionally the remote does not work and I have to open the battery compartment and move the batteries around until it works....I think there is something wrong with the connection. What can be done about this?

I come from a tv family my father working for RCA for many years. With that said I wish he was alive to see this he would really enjoy it. I think this is great no problems so far in like 5 months if it gets local channels some day we will have to cut the cable. For now this is great and even want to make my own station.

Pretty dissapointed

I orginally purchased Chromecast, and was unable to use it becasue my Wi-Fi blocked it. I figured the ten dollars extra to get the Roku instead would be a better alternative than trying to mess with my internet provider. Well I am very dissapointed with the product and I do not enjoy it in the very least. Problem number one, the roku stick was too big to fit. I had to buy an extension. The stupid thing keeps freezing, and I have to restart the stupid thing every other time I try to use it. The apps are hard to navigate, and are very slow. The remote is terrible. It keeps disconnecting and half the time won't connect in the first place. The apps that were give are useless. Such as the youtube app. It's complete garbage. I don't understand why everyone is so obsessed with this thing. I'm returning this product tomorrow to get my money back and in return I'm buying a HDMI to USB converter, and an HDMI cable, which to be honest I don't know why I didn't do in the first place.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor quality stick

When it works, it's great but I have to jiggle the stick each time to start it up. Doesn't,fit properly in the HDMI port on my Sharp HD TV.
