We hesitantly purchased the Roku; we are glad we did. We are not particularly fond of the "free" items. However, IF you have Netflix and/or Amazon it makes the addiction of cable easier to deal with.

Thought I solved my connectivity problems. Worked fine for a month, but now I just wait and wait for it to load. I tried changing WiFi channels, moving the WiFi extender around...you name it. Even with and excellent signal at 10mbps, it won't load.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have 2 roku sticks and a roku lt. I started out with the Lt and it works great, I love it but the stick is even better. It is faster, rf and smaller. I highly recommend roku they are by far better than any other streaming device I have used. The customer service is excellent as well.

this device took a little while to setup ...initially the setup failed...it would try to download updates over and over and after updating would start all over again. Another attempt several days later worked properly---but after I had wasted several hours on it

We had a roku2 to try, and really liked it. Since we have multiple tv's we bought the stick to try and to hide any wires! So glad we did!! Works great!!

Best all in one streaming option

This is my second Roku and I love the options. I can choose between music or news in the mornings and between Hulu and Netflix at night. The stick also keeps my chest of drawers free of clutter as it hides behind my TV. Also, I never worry about losing the remote on the bed because the app is so easy. Very happy with Roku and will continue to support the future generations of Roku.
