I bought my room 3/15..enjoying it..had to travel 45 miles out of town to find one. Out of stock ..if you find one you need to get it. Popular item. Now I can watch old shows without profanity. Love the selections. I share with everyone who listens. Great recommendation...Love roku

Horrible signal and remote.

Streaming stick is not worth the money. We have been Roku users for about 4 years now and loved it. We have the Roku 2,3, and now the streaming stick. The 2 and 3 were awesome so we decided to get the stick for another TV to eliminate some wires. Worst decision ever. First the signal strength on the stick is horrible. It barely reads the remote and we had to switch it to an HDMI port that was visible to the remote. If it is plugged in the HDMI port behind the TV, the remote signal wont reach. Second, when the signal finally reaches, the remote tends to do what ever it likes. It starts moving around and clicking things when no one is even near the remote. And that is only when the remote actually wants to work. When its not clicking random things, its trying to pair with the stick. We cant even use the remote anymore because it is now in constant "pair mode".. the light just keeps blinking and a remote will pop up on the screen saying "pairing". We have tried to reset it so many times and nothing works. We will now ended up just not using the Streaming Stick and plugged our old Roku 2 back in.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product but has many flaws...

Its a great product no doubt. However the remote is janky and drains battery. You end up using your phone app which gets annoying. The software does have a tendency to freeze up so you do hit reset a lot. Overall not bad for the price!

I initially bought this streaming device to gain access to PLEX, one of the many channels available on the Roku. Something to keep in mind is that a credit card on file will be required to set up an account with Roku for charges if you rent movies, etc. Setup was fairly simple to gain access to my wireless router and the remote is simple and works great!

Great for streaming, but the remote needs work

I like the stick and want to give 4 stars, but the remote control really needs work. It barely connects to the stick, and there is a slight delay in pushing the button, and the cursor moving on screen. Luckily there is an iPhone app.

I love it, I access to so many on demand programs. There is small issue with the remote control, it seems to lose power, I just extract the batteries and put them back and it works fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this a month ago. Easy to set up. Only thing is I had a bad remote from the start that hindered things, but after the replacement, great. easy to use, love it.
